The town and the beach are very beautiful, but the hotel is quite old with basic facilities. The transfer from Barcelona takes more than two hours. The hotel staff were very friendly; unfortunately, the overall impression of the hotel is rather below average for a four-star property. The surrounding area offers plenty to do, from scenic nature walks and swimming at large and small beaches, boat trips and exploring a beautiful historic town with a very pleasant atmosphere.

However, the dining room is not very nice. It is located in a basement-level room with windows near the ceiling. During peak meal times it becomes extremely crowded and noisy—to the point where it is difficult to have a conversation at your table.

There is no proper space for luggage, and the in-room safe doesn't have a lock. The double bed is narrower than the standard size. The bathroom has no ventilation, only one towel rack, and the toiletries are limited to shower gel and an old hairdryer.
The soundproofing is very poor—you can hear really everything from the next room, which was a major issue during our stay. Some rooms are also connected by an internal door, making the noise even more noticeable.

On the positive side, all of the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
