Location: This lovingly managed resort is situated slightly above the sandy/pebbly beach, which can be reached via a few steps. The green surroundings and the dreamlike view of the turquoise blue sea put you in an immediate holiday mood. The small town of Gerakini with its shops, bars, and tavernas is about 1 km away. A bus stop is approximately 300 m away, and Thessaloniki airport is about 65 km away.

Facilities: This holiday resort, which is very popular with regular guests and families, can be booked on the German market as a Schauinsland-Reisen Original. Through continuous renovations in recent years, the established hotel has become a modern complex with stylish rooms and many amenities, without losing its typical Greek charm and familiar friendly service. The hotel consists of several buildings with a total of 140 rooms, which are spread throughout the well-maintained gardens. It features a reception area, a bar/à-la-carte gourmet bistro "Panorama" with an outdoor terrace offering magnificent views, a satellite TV corner, Wi-Fi (included), the main restaurant "Mediterranean," and the "Agora" boutique/mini-market. Also overlooking the sea, the outdoor area features a swimming pool, a separate children's pool with a sun terrace, and the "Aegean" pool bar. Refreshments are provided directly at the beach at the "Aura" lounge bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach. For AI guests, loungers and umbrellas at the beach (one set consisting of two loungers and one umbrella per room) are included. A set of beach towels is provided free of charge (free exchange every three days). Since summer 2025, the newly designed beach area is available for even more relaxation and peaceful hours. The "Aura Beach Lounge" right on the beach awaits guests with two comfortable seating areas with shaded spots, including poufs, many plants, and atmospheric lighting. Additionally, various garden areas offer spaces for relaxation such as yoga and pilates, as well as the opportunity to watch movies and sports events under the open sky. Rounded off by renewed paths, showers, changing rooms, and comfortable sun loungers, the space right by the sea is the ideal feel-good place for young and old alike.

Deluxe Double Room Sea View: With the same amenities as the Superior Double Room Sea View, the Deluxe double rooms are more modernly furnished and feature a semi-open bathroom. All guests also receive the following services: daily stocked minibar (1 bottle of water, 2 soft drinks, 2 fruit juices, 2 beers), high-speed internet access, and an espresso machine incl. 2 capsules per day. A luggage rack is available (DDM).

Renovated Deluxe Double Room Sea View: Freshly renovated for summer 2026, these Deluxe double rooms with sea view feature a new design and offer the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Room Sea View, plus bathroom toiletries, a cosmetic mirror, a 43" Smart TV, and free Wi-Fi. All guests also receive the following services: daily stocked minibar (1 bottle of water, 2 soft drinks, 2 fruit juices, 2 beers). A luggage rack is provided, and guests in this room type receive a beach bag with the Sonia Hotel logo (2DQ). Also bookable for single occupancy (DM1/ADM). Also bookable on selected dates and with limited availability as room type MDI/DAM.

Junior Suite: Designed in a modern style, the junior suites are somewhat more spacious and feature an optically separated living area with a pull-out sofa bed as well as a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, flat-screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), microwave, coffee maker (incl. daily refill), daily stocked minibar (1 bottle of water, 2 soft drinks, 2 fruit juices, 2 beers), safe (included), and are located on the ground floor with a terrace and garden view (JS2/JSI).

Premium Deluxe Double Room Sea View: With the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Room Sea View, these rooms feature a semi-open bathroom with shower, WC, washbasin, additional storage space and toiletries, as well as a Smart TV (43 inches) and Wi-Fi (included). All guests also receive the following services: daily stocked minibar (1 bottle of water, 2 soft drinks, 2 fruit juices, 2 beers). The espresso machine is refilled daily with 4 capsules. Balcony with comfortable seating and sea view (P2M).

Family Junior Suite: The family junior suites have the same amenities as the junior suites and are ideal for families with young children due to their ground-floor location in the garden (FJ2).

Suite Sea View: With the same amenities as the Junior Suite, the Suite Sea View features a combined living/sleeping area with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom (S2M). For this room category, the daily minibar refill with 2 non-alcoholic drinks, 2 beers, and 2 juices is included.

Family Suite Sea View: The Family Suite Sea View has the same amenities as the Suite Sea View and is particularly suitable for families with children due to the combined living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom (2FM).

Executive Suite Sea View: With the same amenities as the Family Suite Sea View, these feature two separate bedrooms and a combined living/sleeping area, offering a magnificent view of the sea (ESM). For this room category, the daily minibar refill with 2 non-alcoholic drinks, 2 beers, and 2 juices is included.

All Inclusive: The main restaurant "Mediterranean" opens its doors for main meals. From 6:30-10:30 a.m., a varied breakfast buffet awaits you with show cooking, including filter coffee, cappuccino, espresso, cocoa (hot), tea, juices, and water. From 1-2:30 p.m., a lunch buffet with rotating dishes is available. Dinner from 6 to 9:30 p.m. also features a buffet with three theme nights per week and a show cooking station. For children, there is a separate mini-buffet at lunch and dinner with fries, nuggets, and pasta dishes. Gluten-free options are available in the restaurants. Appropriate attire is requested in the restaurants (Smart Casual). When booking All Inclusive, two sun loungers and one umbrella at a specific section of the beach are included per room.

Entertainment: The animation team offers various sports and entertainment opportunities for adults and children 6x per week. In the morning, various activities such as sports, yoga, water games, etc., are offered, and in the evening, performances, competitions, pool parties, shows, and theme nights cater to every taste. During the Greek evening, guests get a good insight into Greek culture through a series of traditional activities such as folk dancing. Additionally, a live music evening with Greek and international songs takes place.

Wellness: In the small but fine "Melia Spa," peace and relaxation are the focus. The experienced staff puts together an individual pampering program from a variety of different massages as well as body and facial treatments. A sauna and steam bath are also available.

Children's program: Mini club (5-12 years) 6x per week (except Wednesdays) with numerous entertainment programs. Mini disco, children's pool, baby cots (on request and included).
